The Ultrasonic Sensor NT2000 is suitable for measurements in the range from 0,5m to 6m (64khz) and 1m to 16m (40khz), depending on the type. The major difference to standard sensors is, that the measurement principle of our system can not just evaluate the first echo, but the complete echo spectrum. Thus for example, it is possible, to cut out interference echoes in the area under investigation, to determine the average surface of a liquid in motion, or to measure a cone.

The majority of measuring tasks can be achieved by using the extremely adaptable universal evaluation software. By designating appropriate sign terminology, this can be quickly adjusted to the task in hand.

The unitis fitted with 6 potential–free opto-coupled 24V connections. Examples for the use of these connections are as trigger input for commencing measurements or for neading limiting switch positions in order to correct values measured.

The sensor is housed in a cast aluminium casing, and consequently, is suitable for use in harsh environments such as silos, lorries, conveyor belts, etc.
